It offers an opportunity to compare our face to that of Christ, noting the similarities and differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat now?\u201d questions in Bible study ask for relevance. \u201cWhat now?\u201d questions are pointed and ask for action. In your own study of God\u2019s Word be sure to include \u201cWhat now?\u201d questions to apply God\u2019s Word to real life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some sample questions for a small group setting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How can you put this insight into practice this week?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What can you do to cultivate this into a habit?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can our prayer time as a group better reflect what we have been learning?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-counting-the-cost\"><strong>Counting the Cost<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus told a parable about two sons, in which one son agreed to do what his father asked but then didn\u2019t follow through, while the other balked but eventually obeyed (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/111\/mat.21.28-32\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/en-GB\/bible\/111\/mat.21.28-32\">Matthew 21:28-32<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People frequently talk about how a passage applies to them but don\u2019t do anything about it after the discussion. One reason for this is that they don\u2019t consider the risks and costs of living the gospel.
